The budding of a rose simply bears a clear personification of men's rise. To bloom in wonder and fullness, there is many a competition to bear with. The fight for water(space), sunlight(justice), and carbon dioxide(truth) gives forth food (peace) in which it grows to produce flowers. For when the time is just right, God allow petals to form and out emerges the red beauty. However, if the plant continues to remain healthy and strong, more roses thus continue to bloom unceasingly. Christ rose to clearly reflect its love through the redness of rose. With the thorns on their stems and branches, its beauty remains at its pinnacle. Men would not deny its beauty without its thorn. Women understands that from every beauty, there are thorns around; just like the pain and torment Christ suffered for humanity. For each glory belongs to the risen King. The Lord who lives in human flesh and shed much blood for all of us. He is the rose of every man. The reason to women's love.

The move of a man is a step of change. A step that makes the good of mankind blossom throughout their lifetime. It is his inner notion that reverberates. His silence brings peace to mankind. His actions and attitude are of no shenanigans. He is God's child. The likeness of Christ that walks in distinct faith and led by the Holy Spirit. No other religion fathoms the power of Christ for there is none that has a trinity in God. God is the Father, Jesus is the son, and Holy Spirit is the spirit. Every religion has a God but do they have a Leader of life such as Jesus Christ who leads men to be men of God. The Holy Spirit ensures the safety of mankind whilst casting evil spirits away. It is the Spirit of God that shines the light through every Christians. You see it when you see the angelic smiles and halo of God's appointed men. This is the Rise. This is the Kingdom. This is Christ's Leadership.

This one particular word is exemplified and often resounded by people of authority. It is the way of leading a life of values. A life of transparency. A life of trust and relations. Every leader has to be of truth. A way of life. They are the people who brings transparency into valuation. They are the rise and fall of a nation. When one leader does not stand in integrity, many fall (a domino effect upon men). Christ has died for us to be leaders of the world. He is the one true leader that has been of true courage and wisdom bestowed unto mankind in humbleness and gentleness. He is the one Leader to be personified. Only God's Words (Bible) shall be the light and guide in the grooming of integrity. Men's wisdom fall short of the glory of God but God's wisdom reigns forever.

For every walk of life, there is always a need for us to remain humble in learning from one another. The interdependency of a biota has existed way before our existance. It is nature's way of ensuring continuous growth. Humbleness, is the only word meant to serve the purpose of a passion. Only those who are not keen to such a trait may not understand the intrinsic value within its purpose.

The leader's call is to remain humble and rejoice together with the people. When adversity is at its toil, leaders shall rise in total humbleness to serve for the service of mankind. Every leader is gifted with the unspeakable truth of tuning to others' lives. The cognition of emotions may at times overwhelm that of a leader as he knows every suffering and pain of his followers and leaders.
It is his duty to improve the situation at his best of capabilities. Never his mere capability. The one cry of humanity is as a droplet to the resonating wavelets that touch the lives of others through actions.
Whenever there is unrest, the leader is to make peace. He is called to constantly ensure the arrival of calmness during the storm. He is what makes him a leader. Trusted by a thousand to be a peacemaker. An appointed man of God.
Where would life be without leaders? Life would cease living. There would never be any reason to live for the diversion of living is merely a way of losing oneself from living. Only by God, there is truth. Only by Christ there is Love. Only by his grace there is peace.

A man is always gifted with a sense of direction and purpose. It is an innate imbued inclination that God has instilled in men. Therefore, silence is critical in a leader's life for every leader needs to speak in firmness and stead. It is the authority of men that makes the world progress. However, to be a leader, sacrifice is inevitable. It is a part of life for acceptance of both weaknesses and strengths. It is only those who seek after the Lord who is able to discover the potential hidden within. For God has given men the chance to be of authority on earth. Leaders may choose to either lavish the authority or save the world from grim destruction of wayward men.

Though many have witnessed the gloom of tides and winds that has altered the earth's landscape, how many have taken up the call to preside and follow through?

Glimpsing back to history, leaders have been walking the talk in stride of character. They were stoic and filled with an aura of charisma. The firmness found within both conscious and subconsious proved that Leadership is not meant to be publicised but to be of a way of life. It is an appointed duty to provide sustenance to this world in both stride of justice and humility. It is a light of righteousness. A light that only one is able to feel through the conscience of heart. No matter what naysayers may remark, these leaders remain standing firm even to the point of assassination.
Let us brace the light and walk in truth (Ve Ri Tas), integrity, and wisdom.

In this nation, leadership seems to be driven by material gain. Though it is an eye sore, yet it is becoming a booming fad, where denizens have the mentality of wealth as their security. Nevertheless, the truth of the matter is in deep contrast to such ideology. Leadership is based on influence rather than affluence. The latter is merely supporting the former. Without influence, there is no leadership at its core. For every man is called by God to be of the pillar of influence. As time progresses, affluence will be on its way. It takes not just gut and firmness for changes to occur. The Lord has to preside over the matter. A leader is appointed by Him to lead the way paved just for the leader to lead the mass. If only one would start discerning His voice, the crowd would definitely follow through.

As a leader, it is vital to remain calm and repose during the instance of rage. It is the only way to think rationally. This act is not an easy feat. It requires constant practice of calmness. During which wisdom flows into life. However, without God, wisdom would not be revealed. It is a calling to be endowed with wisdom. The ether of life comes like an instance of joy. It is something that happens with your consciousness intact; a rather aura filled moment where no one else can feel it but you. Those around you could feel the serenading presence for its glow is simply magnificent. The only way to wisdom is the first step; through the learning of Jesus' walk.

Working is somewhat "Cooking"

Three months is all it took to start a career. During the period of internship, camaraderie seems to build swiftly with the economic's turn of tide. Not only Leadership, management, and practical skills prevailed in my presence but also friendship that was garnered overtook all boundaries of nationality. An International atmosphere that serenades work life through the simple language understood by all; "Laughter" is its wonderful name.

Such gush in serotonin definitely relieves the built-up tension among employees and employers.

Imagine having friends who kept sharing Japanese anecdotal words such as Oppoi (which simply means breast) and Chikubi (nipples) while singing them....that is crazy. Such a buildup in tension has definitely allowed me to befriend two elder sisters who played above roles of comedians :)

Nevertheless, all this have made the company better as both employees and employers are able to accept stress in a new approach. A family of "insanity" is a family nonetheless. It is only through a family where leaders are able to progress.

All glory be unto the Lord God Almighty.

Even the minutest subatomic particle is constantly in motion; what more on human living. However, God has given men the authority to provide the sense of stability and calmness since men are accountable to God. If ever you were to sit and ponder, you would eventually realize that in the end whatever tasks or works we perform are actually superficial and unseen. It is based on believe to survive and live the life God has given to us. Love, persistence, humbleness, responsibility, meekness, and the like are a few to name it. It is the act based on the culmination of action stemmed from desires and passion that only appears to those who are willing to take a larger step away from comfort. Though many prefer to remain comfy, yet the amount sacrificed by leaders far outweighs the thought of mankind. Thus, leaders are usually given incentives to replace the loss of quality time as they are always "on the go" to bring the surge of momentum to another strata. Such great sacrifice is irreplaceable for it costs the life of a leader himself. If ever the leader shuns away his gift, the organization collapses. Its resemblance is of an alpha wolf leading the packs. Every man has the ability to rise to a leadership status quo. However, society (typically in Asia's context) are not exposed to the uncharted waters.
Men have been called to begin his journey without straying away from the righteous path. Nevertheless, the world is always changing due to the change in men. Once men losses their ability to lead succinctly, the world also losses its ability to develop in the fear of God. In the end, the blame is always upon men. It is not others to be blamed nor parents or even women.

Rise then all men of every nation and tribe. TAKE SIEGE of every territory God has install for men. Development occurs because of people. Society molds the way the system works. However, the system is just a system that is meant to sustain the continual life of human living. If humans are able to see beyond the system, would they then realize that whatever task and work they are slogging, is just the means of "enlivening" the system. The amount of work done by society is just enough for the world to progress at a steady pace. Nevertheless, if humans are able to see the whole picture, they will understand that the process is just a guideline to allow life to sustain itself. Whoever is able to create his own system or even improvise the current system, he is the success of his effort. As a reminder, the current pace of work and studies for students are just a minuscule amount; since they act as a benchmark or a means to allow a sustainable progress. Only Leaders who rise beyond by searching for creative ways of improvement would certainly establish a whole new process. Why should we stick on the old definition of "civilization" defined by the British? Wouldn't it contradict to the definition of growth? Instead, we ought to make our new definition of civilization by improving the current system. Think out of the box and not follow blindly on what the world is like. Since generation X and Y is capable to allow the establishment of social network, why then is it impossible to make a new global system slowly and surely ?

The moment alas has finally arrive. The moment of truth where the inevitable precedence of boyhood to manhood has thus arrive. Why is this period of change so vital? It is during such a point in time where a male becomes a man or continue being a boy for the rest of his life.
In full valour he stands uprightly cum sang-froid stead. In servant leadership he remains upright prioritizing God as the utmost in life whilst being His elect ambassador to fulfill the great calling. This is the rise of the age of a shift in thinking, feeling and performing.

It is the very calling of what a man is suppose to be since the nascent of mankind; Adam. The age of 21 is not a taboo of any kind but a stark reminder to men to rise beyond their level of comfort.

The seizing effect of growth often occurs when people are easily distracted and influenced by others.
However, such "sinecure" attitude is never prevalent in His children as men have been called to rule and claim the wealth of the earth. Only those who have Christ are forever prospering as they are walking the way of righteousness towards riches whilst those who don't are walking in the way of pecuniary(or insatiable greed).

The truth may seem painful and impossible. This is the way of life defined by others for you. The world has gone helter-skelter by allowing abortions, gay marriages and the like. How do we distinguish the wrongs and rights? The journey of life is getting quirky with each passing day. Heretofore, life seems lost to many as they choose to continue living in a sense of being loss. God has given men the opportunity to choose and decide in order for men to freely celebrate and praise God alone through His son Jesus. Unfortunately, many still chose to remain in comfort decay. Time will tell whether he regrets of his life.

Cumbersome but Worth the Try

Recently, my life took another whole new turn. Experimenting life is definitely an interesting task (enjoyable "ardour"). After reminded of both Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Theresa, there goes the ride of a lifetime. A ride of discovery in any facet I encounter. It is amazing to know how defined life is;delicately sinewed by God to such complexity where only children comprehends them as simplicity; "no wonder only those who are ignorant frowns and sulks all the time". The ways of life is somewhat rhetorical as it is undefined by men. Only for an instance man is able to discover something new. However, after some time, a better answer stems out from the boggling hypothesis. BUT, God has made men to learn so that we may live a life of choice and enjoy learning whilst deciding.
Only now do I realize why Jesus led the way of life by example rather than simply teaching (or instructing) people to follow God's ways. It is the defined truth of the Spirit of God that makes the "blind" to see. Furthermore, I was bewildered when I realized few months back that Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki (two most renowned financially free people) are Christians. Definitely God paved a different route for them. Although I am turning 21 by next year, it is the experience of a lifetime to learn so much especially in life as a scholar :)
Not only God has espoused me with the sweetest yet lovable and cuddly lady of my lifetime, but also has been molding me to be a man. No matter how others define life, it is only the Word of God that defines it perfectly. To God be the glory.

Mr. Jack Welsh, a former GE CEO emphasized on candor as a vital aspect of building a firm organization. Companies that tend to excel in the long term only do so based on their strong stance in values, leadership, and other areas. However, the simple act of candor and ability to listen to others seem to be of little emphasis . It is a candid value which ought to be considered by any company that intend to grow by leaps and bounds as employees' welfare are also taken into account. The very trait of humility and respect are best reflected by veterans whose emphasis is on experience rather than "head-knowledge" alone.
A note to be considered is how humble are generations X and Y to admit their flaws and to start anew?
Although the ability to multi-task is on their side, nevertheless experience still matters more than anything else in the secular world of today. The exception only arises when he/she is an inventor or classified in "The Phoenix".
It is rather interesting to know that Jesus paved the way to professionalism. Without Him, there would not be any consideration to the welfare of employees; middle or lower income alike. Thus the way Jesus focused on the main aim - to die on the cross whilst able to lead his 12 disciples truly reflects the life of a CEO. If only this cluster of acumen minded-people has the time to reflect upon it.

Whenever I return to Melaka, my hometown where I gaze upon the folks who were busy having their meals, I realize how peculiar it is to be a Malaccan myself. What's with the pride? History has prided us with a richness that makes Malaysia as is hitherto; even Melaka is now declared a "Developed City". Imagine from just an entreport initially unknown to any but later became a global port to a historical yet "ghostly" town and now into a city. Just by its history, great warriors like Hang Tuah, Admiral Cheng Ho, and the known fact that Melaka was the origin of Malaysia bores to the fact that Melaka denizens are definitely gifted in many aspects.

The values found in Melaka:

1) Humbleness.
2) Hardworking cum perseverance (never give up attitude).
3) Responsible.
4) Motherly humaneness.
5) Family oriented.
6) Rich yet frugal.

As a leader, if ever given the opportunity to visit Melaka, one may immediately notice the atmosphere of leadership just by the simple act of driving. The traffic is slow paced without much honking nor rushing as most Malaccans are leaders themselves. The best example is always by learning from observation of others' mistakes and goodness. Veterans are the best quoted examples as they live life longer than any of us; "eating more salt than us eating rice." Just by the simple act of humbling oneself to relate with them exuberates wisdom and knowledge deemed "simple" by us yet a polysemy to those who is able to see it.

Although it seems that citizens in Melaka is a perfect blend, yet the emphasis is always on spiritual growth. To be able to lead, one is required to lead himself before leading others. It further means that change is inevitable but is it happening to others or us? Are we able to somehow direct those changes instead of making them happen? The latter perspective grooms a leader to riches since though he knows he first needs to change himself, yet he also realizes that he is required to direct changes meant for the benefit of others. It is not by making a change to occur in the lives of others because to force a change to happen is never the answer. Instead it is always the beginning of the doubt. Interestingly God provided the insight of directing those changes to my fellow cronies. Besides, He is always there to remind me of how important it is to not look upon men's ways.Instead, focus the gaze upon God through Christ Jesus. As leaders, God has granted us the joy of learning and enriching others' so that someday the very image of God is reflected from our lives.

The word "hypocrisy" is very prevalent in today's society. Even in the realm of institutions where the utmost integrity has been robbed from its purity and sanctity. It is a dire scenario to witness places of worship being the target of defilement unknowingly due to mens' conduct of preoccupation. However, it is through all these small deeds that make up the whole. Every bits and pieces (shards) of glass make up the aesthetic whilst increasing its value a piece at a time. The interwoven aspect of beauty comes from the adept artist whose ability is gifted by God. Although men of all cultures see "The Art", yet they do not comprehend its inner beauty which lies in those who acknowledge God's presence. It is a divine intervention required by many to be able to understand what it all means to mankind. Life or love? It is all reflected in the greatest leader of all time. Jesus Christ.

Through the many knowledgeable process of intertwining of many instances would there then be the consummate "eureka moment" to the way life is meant to be. A requirement of selflessness is a must in every leader who wants to lead. The term leading may either be leading oneself or leading others. There is a reason behind this as if one thinks in acumen, the thought of being engrossed or occupied in a certain activity or chore (giving full concentration irregardless of time and people) creates the resulting factor to "life" perceived by others. For instance, the life of Mr. Einstein seems like that of a genius. However, he views his life in another facet rather than thinking he's some sort of a geek. Instead, he was a leader by himself capable of prioritizing his learning in Physics and Mathematics instead of other things in life. Besides, he also enjoyed the remarkable creations of God; especially of sunlight and music(his favourite violin :) Thus, this makes his contributions more worthwhile since he sacrificed a whole deal of "fun" and friends. If we look to the recent Nobel Peace Prize winner, Liu XiaBo we noticed that he is jailed for implementing to China the unique language of human rights. Although he is imprisoned, yet he won the most sought after prized... what a dejavu of Mr. Mandela and Aung San Suu Kyii. It is as though leaders who are persecuted and martyred are the ones who are deeply appreciated. Ironic but isn't life that way? As leaders who climb the ladders of fame, there are scarifices in the long run be it time or energy; and sometimes loved ones.
Interestingly God gives men the authority on earth to rule. Therefore, as men of God, we have to make concrete and firm decisions to rise beyond doubts and dubious thoughts. Whatever toil or pain one has to endure, there always will be a time for recognition by God and by man.

Living in a society that very often shush on matters pertaining maturity growth; a taboo kinda topic for Asians does not help in any sense. Very often, I do feel riled up due to the immature behaviour of adults who seem to be in some "weird world" of their own whereby they think that somehow they know more since they have eaten more salt than us eating rice. Though it may be true that they are experienced, yet that does not mean that they are wisdom filled to teach others. Even those who are wise do not teach others as they know the modicum amount of knowledge comprehended is like a droplet of water in a wide ocean. Thus, it is a sad sight to witness the antediluvian generation that seeks for some kind of compassion.
The solution? Humbleness and humility. Interestingly, that is the only key to every facet of life whether be it to the rich or the poor; it's the only answer to humanity. Selflessness does engulf me. However, at times, I have to be selfish in order to be kind. Leaders require some sort of sacrifice to be honoured and respected in future. That is the price to pay. Embrace it and live it.

Being a leader requires much effort in the aspects of values, characters, actions, mindset, and the like. It is never a vain effort since being a leader is as simple as being a nobody who really cares for society. Once there is love and compassion for people, leaders are able to acknowledge the role required to lead men to the betterment by development; personal, social, health, and etc. Such an easy decision of doing rather than mere talking equips leaders to greater heights which may not be comprehended by any even your friends or closed ones since leadership only arises during the spur of moment.Thus, it is important to be able to lead first yourself, before trying to lead others since integrity has to be built from within and not externally. Being honestly composed is also an added value as it builts a man in wisdom and honour.

Juggle seems to be the answer to our daily conducts and everyday life. However, I came to realise how important it is to have our self to delve in each scenario of life. Interestingly, love is meant to be beautiful as it gives both man and lady a feeling of being their utmost best. If ever ones' personality is to be shunned, devastation may arise to that family. The truth to every family is to have a man to make the final decisions and being firm on it. However, men must not take their wives for granted since she is the only love that brings grace into your heart whilst reflect the true you. The comprehension of LOVE has been like a fantasy for those who have not experience love in its truest form. Only by being able to please one another(in certain sense) will there only be a juxtapose of love, life, and hope.

Interestingly, I found that after the discovering of one's potential, there is a greater sense of confidence(wisdom related) in the individual; able to comprehend a greater connection of life around which works based on varying systems. The networking between each being be it of life or not brings a certain logical understanding which bores to the boon of mankind. For instance, macroeconomic requires the help of the economy which also requires the purchasing power of people which also requires a sense of confidence by the peoples. Thus, leads to mankind themselves. If ever humans want to survive they need to have a "living" economy. Actually, economy itself is a paradox since it not only causes the poor to remain poor but allows the rich to rob the chances of the mediocre. In my point of view, the rich befits those who are of great people (rich in characters, values, and principles); not those who are rich by economy alone. Although the rich may be the people of examples, they have to be reminded that their riches they get are from those who labor much physically; not vice versa. It is true that corporate people are great in both intellect and relational skills but they rely a lot on the mass to allow the economy to live. Thus, the term Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is vital for companies to share their lot in helping the economy and most importantly humans to survive.

Therefore, man has to rise to ensure a steady economy since most woman are volatile and act based on emotional instinct. This is not on the issues of gender bias but it is the nature of man and woman. A leader needs to deal with scenarios based on the right thing and never on emotions wholly. There are also exceptions for women who are born to be great leaders which is a gift not by coincidence but of a long term process of hardship. Only through the tenure of life, moulds a great leader just like the shaping of a diamond to make it worth the value. A legacy is made based on the sharing of lessons learned by the leader. That constitutes to the growth of a family, organization, and also a nation. A sui generis country with an emblem of the American Bald Head Eagle reflects the application of such model for they share their knowledge, gizmos, and the like to neighbouring countries since it knows the importance of sharing although it may succumb to debts.

At the epicenter of life, humans tend not to appreciate the doings of others'. Only leaders who are willing to give all that they have allow a true sincerity not understood by any. Grief engulfs my soul as I witness the destruction of the world brought forth by parents and elderly people who corrupt the minds of the younger generations. A shame and disgrace to witness the "ill-mannered" Baby Boomers who manipulate the life of their children. Anguish and sadness creeps my spine and bore deep within my heart after knowing how corrupt the people around me has become. Gasping for the freshness of air, who is there to supply it? Only God. Imagine being drown in a pool of water and no man is able to save another since all of them did not know how to swim(thinking that they are "experienced"). Where would help arrive then? Only God understands whatever I am saying since it is daunting to know that even friends in some way allowed their negative emotions to overcome their character and soul. Truly, I do hope someday, these blind ones shall be able to witness the power of the almighty to know how true is God. The stench of stubbornness and plain ignorance shall lead them to the deep abysses where darkness prevails. I have done my role for my friends but all I can do now is nothing more than helping myself. Depreciation by friends is always real in life today due to the lack of trust and integrity. The toss of waves (as the personification of life during times of difficulty) resembles an important aspect of life. Waves of the sea has a soothing placebo effect in which one may not be able to comprehend unless he/she is able to feel it. Furthermore, the sea breeze has its own salty fragrance which I am definitely in favour of :) since the unique taste of saltiness has its own medicinal properties in healing ailments.
During my brief visit to my favourite solitary place of calmness, I got back the real desire of science in my life. Interestingly, a geologist I became; wondering am I still sane with my life. After a mouthful gasps of air, I recalled my interest to the simple yet often not taken into notice by people; rocks. I love the salt crystals formed by rocks since they are the perfect match for a replacement of a ruby (or even a diamond). Such an interest was wedged into my life when I was just 7. Interestingly, from then on, science became my subject of inquiry. Not only due to geology that I became an avid science geek (who is quiet all the time) but also due to scouting experience which allowed me to enjoy nature as a whole. With both skills in science and nature, God's wonders have been made more bona fide. Thus, it is true that nature, nurture or even science concur to the existence of God. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that God is great in every way but man is the only agent of change; either destruction or construction is man's decision.

This morning, as I did my devotion, God revealed to me a deeper meaning to the parable of the brides shared by Jesus (Matthew 25). It was noted that five brides brought lamps and jars of oil whilst the other five just brought the former. The lamps signify the requirement of knowledge in this world. The oil represents the personal growth in Christ. The lamp paves the way to a temporary life in which after the bridegrooms lead them to the life eternal, it is no longer of much use (but is of requirement). The oil is the most important since as soon as the time comes, the oil (full-blown personal spirituality), equips the bride in the process of life eternal with the bridegroom. On the other hand, the five brides who were deemed foolish, represents the significant meaning of being only equipped with knowledge without the true application and life-living practice of Christ.
Viewing this parable in the daily practice facet, it is true that wives must be equipped with both knowledge and spirituality since as their act of submission aides their husband by conjuring a sense of trust and acknowledgement to their husband's decisions.

A true leader is always loved and loves others without taking into account of any disparities whether be it on culture or even race. How true it is that only through "true" love where there will be a tremendous surge of leadership since insecurities are no longer a barrier in the leader's life. Many a times, people often say that true love is just a fairy tale. However, leaders who cherish the moments with their wives actually experience true love which not only bond them closer but also allow them to grow at an exponential rate.
Recently, it has come to my thinking that no matter what others' do, the world shall never stop revolving around its axis. Such a phenomenon is similar to the scenario of humans life. If ever we are to wander about, we are going to be tossed around till night befalls. Therefore every man must have a plan and action in achieving a certain dream or even a goal in order to lead their own life. No one is there to direct you. Even when you are at the verge of pain and agony, only you alone feel it that way.
This reminds me of a time when I was in Seremban Bus Station located in Terminal 1. I was actually burdened by the insurmountable problems encountered by my parents that I eventually shouldered them unknowingly. As I sat on a bench, tears started to flow down my cheeks and there and then I wailed profusely. Those who took notice seem to just glance off as humans are preoccupied with their own life. I felt not only sad for my parents but also for denizens of my beloved country.
Nevertheless, with every grievances, there comes an unexplainable maturity that grows deeply within a leader.

Therefore, it is important to take heed to learn from every experience for every failure is actually a success.

This is also the moment when potential leaders shine amongst the many out there. These athletes (elites) are willing to sacrifice their time, energy, body, and their self to bring out the potential hidden within. It is what makes a leader peculiar and special in the eyes of many. However, leaders prefer to be equipped themselves so that many are able to benefit. Very seldom they would like to do things for themselves for they are willing to sacrifice their life for the majority. Just by being selfless is the way to a great leader; but certainly the leader must be living healthily.

There was once when I was in a train. It was a journey to the urban city of KL. Whilst I was on my way, I began wondering on the usefulness of thinking. Imagine the abilities and capabilities of human beings being able to learn and understand at any pace without any limits. Of all beings, only the human race was given the opportunity to discover and retain knowledge by learning based on improvements. While staring out of the window, my thoughts formulated a new philosophy. Life is indeed like a journey in a train. As soon as we reach childhood, some may be fortunate to experience a journey by train. As age progresses, adolescent made its way to the sense of a little independence via commuting to school by train without any parents' supervision. At the ripe age of 17, we are left to fend for ourselves. this is when we have to decide whether to pursue further in a higher education or traipse with the working world. Indeed, we are able to continue experiencing the journey in the train from now on but do you think you will be able to complete the journey to settle down as quickly as possible given that we made the wrong choice of not furthering our education? Certainly not. It is interesting to note how wonderful life is because it really depends on your decision to travel in the train. By then, your expenses for each journey(don't forget that there will be stations for us to depart at) comes from the wages we earn from our job. The journey in the train ceases for some(but creeps pretty slowly for others) as soon as we have a family and not forgetting children. After all our children are imbued with the "train philosophy", they are then to be independent to continue their own journey. We, on the other end are reminded to travel in the train with citizens of all walks of life to continue the journey. It is during this moment where men and women in their 50s and 60s experience their wisdom since they are able to spend their time pondering on God's gifts to mankind in the journey. By then, wisdom comes like a gentle stream of flowing waters since they are capable of learning in any scenario even in the train. The journey still goes on .....

Of all vehicles why did I choose the train? It's because it has passengers from any areas of life; be it poor or rich.

It was just two weeks ago as I was in search of a reason to humans inquisitive self. If ever humans were not given the chance to think, development of a certain area may most likely never occur. Thus, the very essence of thinking brings forth a surge to a grave reminder to humans that each person is given the chance to develop in order to build human capital.

Jesus definitely paved the road to the life of development. Try to look into the life of Jesus and I am amazed to know that He is always the example that all of us should follow. For the greatest leader requires not only values nor character but also the Fruit of The Spirit. That is the reason to professionals being professionals. The way they talk and tend to matters reveal the way towards being like Jesus. Even in the business world, the more philanthropists are able to give, the more they receive in different terms; health, family, education.
Why look on the bad apple rather than the blossoming apple tree?

Prejudices and the sense of biasness shoul not prevail in order for a certain county to develop. Hopefully Malaysia has learnt from its mistakes after years of politicking because it is slowing the progress of the nation. Based on the wave of change prevalent now till 2020, we shall have our eyes open and witness that life itself is somewhat special. The very essence of life has been pre-defined by men based on their own perspective and emotional upbringing. Very seldom did they ever try to seek something supernatural such as the Holy Spirit. This cliche of every human's perspective(secular) is the same is only true when others' accept it. Nevertheless, only when tragedy strikes will humans only learn of their own mistakes. Indeed the adage, " live to learn and we learn to live" seems true and is totally agreeable. However, there is also a need to look beyond that and try to gain the only truth that is found from God for the purpose of life is from God. Besides, sooner or later people will realize that skin colour or ethnicity is never the barrier in life. It is the ability to learn that decides the fate(secular) of an individual.

For the world defines knowledge as the truth, God's people define His Word as the light.

When I gave the title of my blog as "The Arrow of Precision", I realized the importance of not just being swift and sturdy but also to have the ability to maneuver against the fluid of the air itself and not forgetting the wind resistance. This comes when the Spirit of God allows the individual to conduct his plan without any obstruction. Everything in the precise order. It is like the metaphor of the eagle where it soars with the wind. Mercedes (Daimler) has this intriguing motto, "Das Beste Oder Nichts" which means the best or nothing. Indeed it is true that every man is made to be an influence not an indemnity. Recently, I also learned something from Rene Descartes(a famous mathematician) - He says that "I think, therefore I am". Such a simple truth but it brings a whole lot of meaning to every person in this world. No matter where a person might be; be it in a car or in a dispute, he/she who recalls this short sentence will realize the essence of it.

Testimony : God's Ultimate Blessing for This Year!

It all started in September last year. My mom's intuition was right after all (lesson to learn - always trust your mom's wisdom when comes to people). I was in a rush to adjust my life in university once again after the summer break. Thus, leaving me with only one choice; to shift my stuff into my new "home". Unfortunately, it was more of a toil than a peace in the second home itself. Both me and my house mate have this wide gap (may be due to age difference) which leads to no grounds in any sort of communication we initiated. There always came to an opposing view. Hence, with such discomfort and feeling despondent that things gonna change, I have to suffer in silence. It was not really suffering since God always reminded me to be who I am and not comply to what others' want me to be. It is definitely a great experience because even recently after a dispute between my house mate and I, I find it a blessing in disguise. God is blessing me with a smaller home yet it is way cheaper and installed with an air-condition. Imagine a HOUSE rental of only RM250. It really caught me off guard as I made my rounds of searching high and low for a place to live in. Even after the dispute, I felt that God was somehow more real to me. It is due to the imbalance of life that makes us cling closer to God and that was a remarkable experience! There was once when I was asleep when suddenly a there was a call. I picked the call and was conversing to the "guard" who was stationed at one of the guardhouses which I met in Bandar Sunway. He told me he has this apartment for RM150 and also added that he wanted to "Hisap". There and then my mind jolted. He then told me that he was a Gay Boy....and I was stunned. However, later on, I told him that I did not favour apartments due to my furnitures (requires manpower to shift - not logical) but then he asked me whether I want Him to "Hisap". There and then I told him I have a girlfriend and already own an engagement ring. I also asserted that I don't want my girlfriend to feel betrayed. Besides, it is a crazy thing to know that such cases is so real. It's in front of our eyes but no one is able to fathom it since it only appears in humans thoughts and heart. To me, I just hope that the government will establish some rehabilitation centre to help this poor folks who are just living a life of emptiness and evil conceit. Hopefully, someday Malaysia will have leaders who are firm in their foundations and never to waver on such issues be it till their death.

If you have ever seen the play Peter Pan you will remember how the pirate chief was always making his dying speech because he was afraid that possibly when the time came for him to die he might now have time to get it off his chest. It is much the same with me, and so, although I am not at this moment dying, I shall be doing so one of these days and I want to send you a parting word of goodbye.

Remember, it is the last you will ever hear from me, so think it over.

I have had a most happy life and I want each one of you to have as happy a life too.

I believe that God put us in this jolly world to be happy and enjoy life. Happiness doesn't come from being rich, nor merely from being successful in your career, nor by self-indulgence. One step towards happiness is to make yourself healthy and strong while you are a boy, so that you can be useful and so can enjoy life when you are a man.

Nature study will show you how full of beautiful and wonderful things God has made the world for you to enjoy. Be contented with what you have got and make the best of it. Look on the bright side of things instead of the gloomy one.

But the real way to get happiness is by giving out happiness to other people. Try and leave this world a little better than you found it and when your turn come to die, you can die happy in feeling that at any rate you have not wasted your time but have done your best. "Be Prepared" in this way, to live happy and to die happy - stick to your Scout promise always - even after you have ceased to be a boy - and God help you do it.

Every man is made to be a leader. It is a choice in which a man has to make. To lead the many or lead no one.
People needs to understand themselves before trying to understand others. Learning to adapt to others' abilities and capabilities are essential to the key enumerating factors in allowing a quintessential tolerance of servant leaders. By taking Jesus as an example, the maxim of servant leader is thus born. The way to being a great leader is always by being keen to learn for knowledge itself is power which is a gift from God himself. The reason to man's authority by his verbal command is in lieu with God pronouncing the command to the existence of life. This leads to the gist of a gift of speech that every man ought to use wisely. Untoward jeopardy prevails due to the choices made by men who don't practice humility, discernment, wisdom and the like. If ever a man is to be made a leader, why then are the numbers decreasing daily? The simple answer : responsibility. accountability, and commitment. Only those who possess such traits are able to grow wise in wisdom.
However, such easy answer is always denied by people due to doubt and unbelieving. This two simple words are the main destruction to morale collapse. Women are seen to take the role of leaders instead of men. Why is this happening? Where are the men that are suppose to be presiding the Hall of Fame? Whimpering away in their cosy confined space? If ever leaders were to be complacent, there would never be any Nissan Co. or even the multibillion company: Toyota. Making the right choices stems from experience; that makes CEO an uppity. Life is meant to be a process of learning. Every leader has to be keen to learn in order to be the shepherd of many. It is just the matter of choice. There is no leader who never works to succeed. Every success comes with a price only to be enjoyed by the doer.

It had been a grievous year for me. Respite all the aches and daunting moments, God has emboldened me stronger than ever. Ever believing, ever receiving. Do allow me to rant my heart out due to me heavy load....

Firstly, I am disappointed by the way my parents treat me. There were times where they still treat me as though I was an innocent infant. It justs burdened me all the more; knowing that their maturity is stunted if ever to think in such manner. It has been and will always be God who aides me in every situation of my life. Deep down within me, I know that the very person I trust will and always will be God alone. Men themselves shall try to persuade and use all their wisdom to win others. Jesus on the other hand lived the life of Christ and not on mere words.

This will always be my source of inspiration for I know He loves me till the very age of time regardless of whatever I have committed. He is my Father in whom I trust and in whom I believe.

Recently, I was back in Melaka. I was trying to figure out the reason to my going back to my hometown.
Awoken by my brother, I decided to just traipse the sand at the shore nearby my home. As I was trying to capture the scenic calm breeze, a thought came to me. Imagine the seashells as humans on earth. There is this vast amount of shells spread out like the sea amongst dry land. The very inspiration of God as the person who collects those precious shells (unique in their kind) made hearten that only a handful of people are meant to be chosen by God. To be collected, polished and cared for in order to be displayed somewhere in His home. The selected shells will always remain as the decor for many to see.
From this incident, I realized that not every man is chosen in His Kingdom. Only the few He shall choose. Those few has to be favoured by Him alone. From this observation, Israel themselves reminded me of the chosen one. However, only those who live by the Spirit understands them as they are.

Recently, I watched this wonderful film ; "Leap Year". It is the most tremendous love story I have ever watched.

May one day, the Love life I lead flourish like a blossoming edelweiss on the hills of Ireland. Having to roam freely on the verdant grasses overlooking the widespread turquoise sea, as we stand at the cliff slowly inhaling the aroma of the soothing breeze. It ain't easy to explain such impeccable moments. The bliss is astounding for those around are able to feel the serenade of floating daisies.

Being able to share with a life partner is certainly a joy when we are able to gently embrace the immense beauty of the soul and spirit. Just imagine such love. Only true love exceeds all boundaries. Peoples are around to comment but the love that continues to flow daily shall not allow any solidarity of malice. Do ya know something? A man and a woman in one spirit and soul is the greatest gift God has given to mankind because through them, Kings and Lords are born. Through them, fathers and mothers are made. Through them, the undefined meaning of love is shared on earth. Every husband must keep his sane mind and lead his family. Keeping the fear of The Lord and remaining to love one another just as Christ loved us. If God did not intend to have Eve, how then will there be any existence of love? It is only through them also although they did sin against God that love was defined. God planned it all right through in order for us to experience the Love of Christ. He made it compulsory for every man to be wedded to a woman. It is true indeed that through the experience of LOVE, we then are able to Love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul, and mind. Loving our neighbours as ourselves thus coincides as well.

Let me not comprehend to the patterns of the world; they who babble about without speaking through the Spirit. There are many out there who claim themselves that they know Christ. Nonetheless, they may be clothed in sheep's wool. I do pray that the Spirit of God shall allow me to discern to only His voice and not of foxes. May the man of God be always prepared in full fledged armoury to guard his spouse, children, and his loved ones.

To be a great man seems plausible but who on earth wants to be a rubbish collector or even a janitor based on the rapid development of our dearest country. To be a nobody is actually to be a somebody. Sounds confusing but it is true. However being a somebody definitely is better since one is able to contribute "more" to society. Never once a man is able to say that they became a somebody by their own effort alone. Where then did that somebody get the nourishments required daily; whether clean house, food, or even commuting? If ever a man is to be doing all things alone all the time, it is impossible for him to be not only a somebody but also a someone. One needs to be reminded that it is what you reflect yourself to others that makes you you. It is never about who you solitary think you are that defines you (unless you are in some kinda crossroad searching yourself).
To stand on shoulders of giants, one must be a giant himself. Never to be intimidated by gnomes or dwarfs. Calmness is the answer to progressive change.

Only through Christ many will be saved.

The gushing stream of water is tantalizing, soothing yet very disturbed. In every froth/bubble made by the water flowing gently through the crevices and rocks, many gain inspiration from it. With all the sacrifices made by the children of God, there certainly be moments when we do enjoy the pure intent that could only be felt and not be understood. There are many lessons to be learnt in life but only those who seek to learn are able to decipher the meaning of it all. Even Jesus gave his teachings in parables and not in a judgmental manner. The world is as it is because God has made it to be that way. It is the way people think that complicate matters.

Father's Day is meant to be a day where pappy is gonna be glad to feel appreciated. Unfortunately, I witnessed a "panaromic" scene where men of great experience were actually spending their moments of appreciation by anticipating in the World Cup furore. You may think that wouldn't it be great to see them enjoying the match (Slovakia VS Paraguay) at a coffee shop? As I sat there with my dad on a plastic stool trying to experience the Zeitgeist, I noticed how empty these veterans felt. Malaysians ought to spare some time to discern to the words of their parents rather than altering history daily.

Thankfully, God is always there to remind me to remain humble before such men so that mistakes of the past shall not be repeated by me. A wise man always listens in meekness to learn continuously in accordance to His Words and never to his own wisdom.

It has been just two days since the nascent of my summer break. It sounds amazing to have summer break for youths in Malaysia. In spite of this "bubbling" news, I have been dirt tired for those two days. Planning for my club with my fellow teammates was really exhilarating since we really brainstormed; the kindled spark has tremendously change the perception of the Board of Directors. A more professional and serious outlook were imbued in them. All thanks to God for allowing Him to convey my vision and passion to each of them. Hopefully YJCI in Nottingham Malaysia will be an example to many with its corporate based structure hierarchy.
The time for a paradigm shift is definitely moving NOW. The wave of change is inevitable as momentum picks its pace. Hopefully, this club would be able to build more outstanding youths to be able to not just confront society's burdens but also to overcome every impossible to something viable; (leadership, creativity, business, community and self-development) shall be the emphasis.

Let us be like little children in our dealings(free from judgement and insecurity) but be wise as a shepherd (rich in tolerance acceptance, humility, selflessness and giving.) The great God I know is certainly in the midst of building a God fearing institution towards greater heights.

To my beloved fellow brothers and sisters, let us be reminded of His words:

It came upon me when I viewed the movie, "Ip Man 2". The attitude portrayed by the protagonist reveals much of a gentleman who knows his conducts and actions are his responsibilities.

When I was driving back to my rental home, it daunt on me that my life is something I cherish.

Many have thought that I am some weirdo or narcissist. It is just me who is willing to be able to remain firm and not relenting my position of distinguishing the truth. Media is corrupt so is people. Nevertheless, it is the individual who is corrupt that views others as corrupt. But, there are also individuals who are not corrupt but being influenced to be corrupt. That is the danger of the human mind if allowed to be in sub-conscious mode.

If ever we view the GI's, we definitely perceive that these are the soldiers that are always ready and on the go. They are the ones little kiddies dream of becoming.

Manhood is a combination of many matters. It requires an understanding that woman are to be cared and never to be blamed; they only accompany man and at times help them with the "easy tasks"(easiness perceived by men). Besides, ladies are not the strength to a man. It is the knowing of a greater responsibility and love that drives a man to greater heights. This then leads to being gentle to your spouse. Gentleness of a man is only revealed first to God, then to your wife.

If a man is unable to be gentle to himself or to others, his wife suffers a quiet death. Most man need to know that every decision made by them will be agreed by their wife. Whether or not the decision made is disastrous or prosperous depends on the man himself.

Very soon, I will be turning 20. It is a number that I have awaited for such a long time. It is indeed time to remain matured thinking and act on every plan. It is also time where an exponential growth shall occur within this 3 years of my education. Life itself means to love everyone and not allowing the evil one to deceive you to hate others. It also means to have the Fruit of The Spirit to live within the individual in order to have a smooth progress of fulfillment.

Since I have achieved "stability" in the matters of the world, the time of growth is definitely now :)

The sense of seriousness is back. In six days time, I will be 20 years old. With such limited time, it is best to use this time for a routine of habits in which my life centers on for the coming years. A man has to be a man and he has to be ever ready to decide and act upon every decision that is worthy of actions. Sacrifices has to be made from now onwards whilst staying calm and patient without seizing to unworthiness. Every man and woman is given the opportunity to decide and to speak. It is the sense of respect and of calmness in decisions which would lead to maturity for men. Most importantly, Holy Spirit is the one who gives me the peace and right decision. It is my duty to perform my responsibility and accountability. The time is never later but it is always now. All the talents that I possess shall remain in me and be made useful throughout my daily life. Further talents are to be garnered and sharpened for this is the whole duty of men. To be ever ready to learn and never relenting to laziness. It is only through sheer hardwork and perseverance shall a man succeed.

There was once when God spoke to me. He told me that the only way God is able to help a man is when a man helps himself. It is useless for a man to cry out to God without doing what is necessary to help himself. It is just like a donkey who stoops at a creek thirsting for water but not wanting to open its mouth. God will definitely provide water in the creek but it is the choice of men that decides. Nevertheless, it is through the obedience to the Spirit that reflects the abundant achievement.

My mom once told me, "Obedience is better than sacrifice."

Indeed it is a very constructive statement that has caused me to revert back to the path that I am to be in. God is always my pillar of strength in whom I trust. He has given me parents who not only teaches me but also who guides whenever I was a "mule". To God be the glory.

Where will peace be without any "rough up" times. It is just interesting to know that when all else fades, He is there to remind you that you are still important because He created you and that is the main reason you live. Imagine if someone says to you that you are special because you have this quality, looks suave, and the like. Humans way of appreciation would at most instances have a certain reason behind. However, God's reason is simply to ask of you to trust in His Son, Jesus who died on the cross in order to cleanse us from the filthiness of sin in order to have a direct communication with Him. How do we do that? The reason Jesus comes into this picture is due to the imperfection of men. God has made men not to be perfect but with flaws so that they will not see themselves "great". If you would ever analyze successful people, you would notice that they become successful due to a certain sense of love; whether of work, relationships, research, etc. Thomas Edison certainly got much love from his mom who encourages him not to give up. Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin were lovely people who cared for their social lives although they were very busy people. Even the great Sir Isaac Newton is loving in the sense of trying to know more of nature in order to discover many scientific facts in comparison to Einstein. The reason nature comes into place is because one has to be able to appreciate God's creation with awe and wonder before he is able to have an idea of "how the system works".

If a person uses his scientific based knowledge, it is always limited.

Since love is the answer in life, let us then be children of the great One.

How do I know this is the REAL God? I have witnessed many miracles ranging from gold dusts appearing on peoples hands while worshiping to the turning of my mom's teeth from white to silver after prayer :)

Besides, my life is a reflection of how He wants me to be and not of how the world wants it to be :>

It is not my strength alone that makes me special but it is God himself that makes me special.

It is such an interesting moment when all of a sudden a jolt of recalling the two main streams dawn on me; recalling of arts and science as two different fields made me realized how vital it is to strike a balance in which a greater emphasis ought to be in the field of science. Furthermore, in regards to economics and business, music and literature, I perceive them as the main branches of my art(stream). In science, there will be most of my courses(Mathematics and Physics) and application modules. However, for the pseudo, they tend to be in the field of both. Sports and studies are in this category since both of them reasons and applies.

Recently, I did a personality test to know where am I hitherto. Pronto! I am a INTJ and it is the same personality as Sir Isaac Newton...what a coincidence. Intuitive, Introvert, Thinker, Judgemental. These four really makes me realize that since I was in primary school, it was God who has been grooming me to be such a special lad :)

Just makes me smile each time I think of what I am. Albeit I possess such a trait held also by Stephen Hawking and Hilary Clinton, only the Spirit of God pleases me via a reminder of who I was intended to be. I also realized that I was once an ordinary boy who enjoys having all the time he has to do whatever he wants; reading, cycling, lazing around, exercising and etc. It is just an awestruck moment when God envisioned me with such memorabilia to the present me of today. Life is tremendously astounding when I view it with freedom and enjoyment. Life is not meant to suffer but to be enjoyed in a humility manner.

Only a doofus person "enjoys life" without the true exasperation of His creation. God is the one and only being who is able to make me realize that life is worth living because He lives in me :)

It's right after lunch and here am I. I think blogging is definitely a good way to express myself.
You see, although a diary may seem the alternate for many, however it is fixated only
to my own reading and reflecting. Through blogging, not only will I be able to express myself in words
but also enables me to be keen in learning new words and to expand the scope of my horizon of learning.
It is just something that ought to be a routine since it helps in both emotional and personal growth. Isn't technology wonderful,
Anyway, in today's lecture on Energy Technology, a movie was screened just for us :)
The title : "The Inconvenient Truth"

It is highly recommended for avid "green people" (wannabe). This movie concerns mostly on the life and goal of Al Gore who I believe is a humble yet firm person. It is only through the pain that he has gone that surpasses his ability to save the Earth from further disruption and greenhouse effect. His illustration on the frog is also a pretty good illustration for laypeople. Truly men needs to be jolted by the truth no matter how terrible it is.

Lastly, values and characters are important to sustain the earth from further perils. Without such laws, men will just continue to live a life of poverty instead of the inner joy of truth.

Remain Sane

The only way to remain sane is to write and read and write. That is the effect of not talking to people. It is really a tough choice but hopefully will be rewarding in future. No stirring up of any furore, just a silent me :)

When I feel bored, I think I better just remain calm and start reading my textbooks. Hopefully, the passion of my career will eventually make me more intrigue. It is just wonderful whenever I grab something light to read and thus enjoy doing it. No distractions and worries. Maybe that is the very reason to a more focused life.

Even Dr. Mahathir recently emphasized on reading in the Star newspaper. He even mentioned that since he was young, his dad always emphasized on reading whenever he has any time to spare. Reading fiction books is just interesting. It is definitely hard to describe because to me, it seems to be another storyline as in the movies.

With the whole lot of books by John Grisham, I thought of moving next to Sidney Sheldon's books since they were complimented by MPH GM, Ivy Tan. Oh, ya before I forget, Mr. Mano Maniam is the "Man" that truly inspires me. He is like me in short. He thinks in a whole new perspective but definitely similar to mine :)

I believe someday, I am able to be a distinguish author that writes about Motivations, Life and also Science....ambitious? Well, better to remain ambitious than to be a scum in society.

You see, God has placed me here not to just do whatever he wants me to do but also to do what I enjoy doing :>

Jesus did mentioned once that we ought to give Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what is God's.

The vitality of leadership.

The statement above sounds like something serious yet many do not take it seriously. Do you not know that human nature is more devastating than ever these days? The very reason to that is the unattended span of attention required during their teenage years. Once that occured, they resort to other forms of entertainment to have that "believe" that someone out there cares for them. No matter how endless this sounds, it is the very truth of mankind.

STOP preaching Isaac!!!

Revert the attention to here. Recently, I read an addenda of the book "The Ultimate Checklist Of Life". In this particular book, there was this passage that mentions men have been all the while eager to worship God. However, they did not know anything about God, thus they decided to worship secular possessions such as wealth, idols and the like. To those who know about God and do not know how to worship him, please come and see me :>

Worshiping God is one of the greatest gifts He has instilled in us. When we worship by singing, it is not only the heart that sings to Him but also the soul and mind. With these three elements of praise, a sweet and glorious melody is made. The peculiarity of such melody is profound and certainly exquisite. It is like you will want to continue singing without taking note of time.

It is only through this confidence in God that makes a person worthy of living. Angels are made to guard humans from further harm. The sovereignty of God lies not in angels but in the Son of God, Jesus. Then why Jesus came as a human being? Jesus wants us to know how precious we are to God. He did not come as a king. Instead he came to serve and not be served. Indeed, Jesus is the most humble man I ever know in my entire life. The second will be David. Do you think people like us will be able to die innocently without reasoning?

Nah, no way would be the answer of many. But Jesus is a "Son of God".

Dude, he is like the MAN above any kings in this earth. Why must he die for people like us???

The due reason is to save us from the wrath of sin that obviously has already seize our life from

being able to do what we are able to do. Besides, the only way to communicate to God is through Jesus because we are neither holy nor pure. Therefore the very lesson I learned in Jesus is to be humble and willing to accept the promises of God to come to fulfillment.

Do not allow any doubt to withhold you from knowing God for you know what is right and wrong. It is His spirit that aides you :)

Glitzy Dinner

Yesterday, i attended a dinner by JCI Petaling Jaya held in Cititel Mid Valley. It was a whole new experience for me since it's some sort of business escapade where many glamorous white-collars were present. Fun and networking were certainly the main agenda for its function. There were corporate businessmen from not just PJ but also Penang and Melaka. I am definitely new in this stream of business. Hopefully someday, the skills of both Chemical Engineering and business will intertwine to something greater. This shall be part of the sinew to being the person God intends me to be.

Besides, JCI PJ also organizes trips to Taiwan and Japan to meet up with other business affiliates. That is something I hope to be part of. This club is newly established in Nottingham and it is unlike other clubs because the exposure to be a successful key person in the field of business is always there. Even organizing projects amounting to a minimum net profit of RM10k is just a routine to them.

May the Lord guide me in all my decisions and give me the wisdom required for such vast exposure of the world.

The end of the beginning is usually the start to what is to come. It is important for me to progress to a brand new life of an environmentalist as I am taking a module relating to Sustainability :)

Imagine the go-green me. Gonna even have a bicycle that hopefully will be able to take me to Semenyih, Broga Hill and also (fingers cross) Kajang. I realized how bad it is to consume fossil fuel. Due to our negligence, Copenhagen summit on climate change was not productive. Comfort makes us not to budge from being a group of sluggard.

May the coming semester and not forgetting years be of productivity and blessings.

To all my fellow buddies, be informed that I am going to be kinda quiet for the next few years to cultivate the thinking habit which has been rooted deep within me since high school.

Not that I am passive but knowing that the only time to act on such an opportunity of a lifetime is NOW; do allow me to make full use of it.

Although today is the second day of New Year, it is not too late to pen down certain important points that will be my resolution for this year and years to come. The Dream and plans that He has for me is totally unbeknownst. Nevertheless, He once told me that I will be A Leader of Nations. It is definitely difficult to know such amounts of truth after seeking for the answer for almost 3 years. Alas, it is important for me to remain humble in learning as much as possible to stir the passion to being the very person God intends me to be. The year 2009, has thought me many lessons. Not only men love despise one another but also they try to break the spirits of those who are enthuse. Imagine being filled with hope and anointing but being shot in the face by those evil expressions that lurk behind the backs of people.

One very thing that He made me realized is that God has made men in order for them to lead their own lives. What do I mean by that? Men themselves fail to see who they are. Being caught with studies, pleasure and work, have definitely cause some of them to lose the sense of grasping hold on that gifts and polishing those potentials hidden in them. Media, chat rooms and not forgetting social networks are certainly beneficial for socializing and a way of entertainment. However, to me, it seems to be the worst of moulding the You that was meant to be. Friends who are not encouraging or even approving your own development of maturity are merely friends. Have friends that are positive and willing to learn from one another; not those who seek to be the "winner" all the time.

To me, life is a process of learning so that God is able to shine us like never before. People will certainly deny your talents and gifts as they may have been brought up that way; being discouraged by their friends or even parents. Nevertheless, the inner you is far greater than what you think.

I came out with this statement in which I believe the Holy Spirit revealed it to me :

"To God impossible is nothing, to men nothing is impossible"

The emphasis that you can see is that men will see things the way others see. Why do you think it is fun to go to the movies or even to stay hooked to Facebook? Is it because you love to do it or is it because you feel like that's the way to lose your stress? Look within you and see the stark change that is happening in your life. Who is in control of you? Is it you or the influence of others? One thing I realized is that God himself does not look upon the impossible and say, "That's gonna be tough". I believe with all my heart that he will just flick those impossibilities into the bin and the result? It is just another petty issue.

Why am I saying all these. It all bores down to my life in 2009. I was caught up with many things after my Foundation Year that even I was adrift into society. Guess no man is perfect. Nevertheless, I learn a whole new lot of lessons that will certainly come useful someday. The second point is that men who are optimistic resort to believing that nothing is impossible. Unfortunately, someday they will realize that the term "impossible" is inevitably "possible". It is just the matter of time that will tell.

Therefore, how are we suppose to be like God? Not to be God but to be like Him. He did mentioned that no slave is greater than his master. It is like a relationship between a kung fu master and his student. But in this case, God is superior; no comparison to a kung fu master. If a kung fu master is able to teach those skills of counteracting his foes, how about God teaching His chosen people set apart from society to make the "impossible is nothing" statement to come alive? So, the gist of it is that children of God are indeed special because they are not only able to be who they are but also to achieve those impossibles without any fear or doubt. Instead they will march upfront and claim the victory in His name.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding". If ever we start looking deeply on how others might react, that is when we know we are wrong. Life is not meant for you to please others or even to neglect your very own life. It is all about leading your life and pleasing God alone. How are you to lead your life? That is up to you. Not of God. Surely God has plans for those who believe in Jesus, His Son but he only helps those who help themselves.

Home sweet home :)
It has been quite some time since i last appreciated this Historical City where I was born.
Melaka, a name that came from a tree known as "Amalaka". The quaint town that was once known as a 'Sleepy Hollow' is now quite a develop one. It is really interesting being brought up as a Malaccan (sounds like Belacan ).
I went to yam cha with Alex and Wei Di yesterday in FRIENDS Cafe. This cafe serves drinks and food at exorbitant prices. It may be the worst throughout the history of my entire life due to its tasteless drink served. Nonetheless, Melaka has a peculiar niche especially on art ; Dataran Pahlawan is displaying this globe kinda decor that really brings out the Christmas atmosphere.

Really wonderful to see the artificial snow :) Yang Xin would definitely cherish every moment he has in Russia while Amin will also cherish his in New York. Very unexpected to know my fellow buddies are all around the globe. How wonderful God is to provide so.... many friends in my life.

Camping Trip

This trip was way back in the late 50's ...lol..Nah, it is a recent trip which almost caused me to have a late submission for my coursework. The location of this family camping trip?Somewhere near Kampung Pertak located nearby Fraser's Hill. My maternal uncles and aunts gathered for such a wonderful trip to enjoy not only the fresh crisp air but also the refreshing stream that is terribly chilling. These are a few snapshots of what we did there ;)

Many thanks and gratitude to my uncles and aunts who put the effort to pick me up from Rawang KTM station and also for all the yummy meals provided. Not forgetting the joy ride in the raft that almost went helter-skelter due to the small turbulent stream. It was a great trip after all having able to visit Fraser's Hill for the very first time too. Life is meant to be joyful and not solemn. Live the best that there is.

*Remember you only have a chance to live - why waste it to argue and quarrel? Rather use it for a greater vibrancy and impact to society :)

Consistency and Persistency

Yesterday i gave Jia Wei and Kalai a call to ask for some "yam cha" moments. Unfortunately, it was way pass 11.00pm thus leading to a no as a reply. Well, there was I having my supper in Kalai's mamak stall awaiting for his appearance. Waited and waited for nearly half an hour and not a glimpse of him. Hence, I went for the midnight movie of "Avatar" in 3-D in Dataran Pahlawan.
It was kinda cool to experience the "trueness" of Navi life. One thing that amazes me is the great emphasis of nature withheld by the blue wonderful creatures that seems alien to us. They are really the kind of being that I would gladly support. Coming to think of it, I am also some sort of a nature avid guy who is fearless :)

It is really wonderful how this movie awakens me of what the world is like and how am i not to always follow them blindly. I really hope that someday the Earth's greatest treasures will remain to preserve and conserve nature with gentleness. Avatar is really the best movie that I have watched this year. The type for the "go for green" people.

Today, I went to have dinner with Loo Han in Esquire Kitchen in Hotel Holiday Inn. The gourmet was wonderful. We had satay, Malaysian delicacies and the like. I thought it costs RM30-40 but it was astoundingly expensive with a cost of RM 49.95++. Imagine that! We had it for free by the way and spent around two hours savouring every dish available. My stomach was kinda bloated with not food but water....haha... In the brasserie, I met a few of my ex-colleagues and managed to greet them. They must have thought how this guy can spend his $$ simply like that in such a place that will definitely cause a hole in his pocket.

Anyhow, my life is always a blessing to be told to others on how God put things into place like pieces of puzzles forming into a clear crystallize puddle that amazes me to see not what is there for me to admire but to admire the one thing he has created. It is the masterpiece of YOU.

Look in the mirror and see who you are today because what YOU are right now determines what YOU will be tomorrow. Even in the game of bowling did i realize this. If we ever say to God, "Just bring me to where you want me to be" without performing any responsibility as a child, student and future professionals, do you think he will help you?

When i was playing bowling, it daunt to me that if we ever throw the ball simply like that hoping to have a "Strike", do you think we can? Occasionally we would but is that who you were meant to be? Just some carefree and plain point blank kinda person? The bowler knows that he has the ball. He needs to decide who is controlling who. If you allow the ball to control you then it is just a ditto of the above. But if you control the ball, you know where it goes and you know that you are not God but you are doing your best to use the fullest potential he has given you not wasting them just like that.
Seize hold of the ball and bowl it into the strike with not only a dream and vision but with consistency and persistency to achieve a greater result.

The greatest challenge is not whether you will achieve the success but it is whether you will be able to maintain the success thrown to you.

Control your life and let not others control you to see the greatest potential hidden within you. You are more than you think you are.
Remember that in order to maintain the success requires no head knowledge or strength but by the faith of God. All glory bores down to Him and not to the "successful person" because all things belong to Him.

Men who pride themselves will eventually fall but those who remain humble are able to seek for greater wisdom and understanding from God.

To all my fellow buddies :
Listen to the still small voice in your heart for you know for yourself that there is indeed a True God out there. It is time to stop the denial. Be at peace with HIM so that He lives in you.

How significant is a High School?
After watching the video of Mr. Ong Chong Wee's retirement, something caught hold of my attention. Why was it that this school of mine is able to present itself with much confidence and courage? It was during this time, that each La Sallien from St. Francis Institution was meant to develop a potential hidden within them.
Mr. Ong's way of presenting himself to students reflects his highly admirable demeanor. Only then did i realize the reasons to such a success in which this missionary school has been able to impact in every student.
Putting aside feelings and emotions, there were a few traits found there ;

1) Accomplishment is an obligation - Age Quod Agis

2) Character is the emphasis - "Knowledge without character is a blunder" by Mahatma Gandhi quoted from Mr. Ong.

3) Discipline and wisdom is built - Every decision made by the board of committee is reflected through the students today.

4) Knowledge is a priority - Life is a long term learning process. I believe that even to this day, a wise person is a person who humbles himself to learn in any way possible.

Remarks :
True success was maimed due to the ways of men who try working themselves to perfection. GOD was left out. That was and is the main reason to such a political arena occuring in such a suave school.

Hey there! It's really crazy to know that undergrad life is not as easy as it seems.
Besides, it is "The University of Nottingham"; World Class university(Top 1% in the world).
Can you believe it? I am in a top 1% university in the whole wide world. Guess that means I have to work so hard that even my feces(that's the right British spelling btw) is gonna be like diamonds in future.
Wow, it is just stunning beauty to know that the one and only Isaac Chin Hock Xuan who has been gleeful throughout the days of his life is now in a "tertiary education stardom" ; that will be his stepping stone to success for the next 40-100 years to come. Isn't God great??
Come on, just think about it. If it is not the work of God, who can it be? If Han Seng remembers, I am the guy who speaks crazy stuff when I am in a "hyper" mode. When it came to some serious stuff, all jokes were shooed out from the crazy box.

Nevertheless, I just realised that becoming a Chemical Engineer is really interesting. When I was in Form 5, there was a time when my thoughts were about rain drops. Relentlessly, I quipped, "Where does the energy go to after splashing onto the ground besides losing it via K.E., sound E and P.E.(since it may be that the energy are all transferred to Earth's Core) Chemical engineering is all about transfer of Heat, Energy and Mass besides creating a plant.

Hm.. let me speak based on my innermost thought. Putting them to words seem to be the ideal choice right now since by 2.00pm i'm gonna have my next lecture in TISCRA. So glad that God has realigned me and reminded me of the importance of getting back on track. Building back my past momentum is a crucial part of my daily routine :)
Anyhow, today, there's this CS Fair(Club Society Fair) going on.
As usual, hoards of people just mingle around and figuring which club would they end up in. I, on the other hand need some brush up on decision making. It just seems that I am carried away by the quantity rather than the quality. Yeah, qualitative ought to be the dominant aspect of my life.
That is kinda like me :> Just became a member of Toastmaster, Nottingham Junior Chamber, and CHESS (Chemical Enginering Society for Students).

It seems like another new semester tinges me a little. :) At least I shall be able to meet up with my close comrades whilst preparing for the greatest feat of all time.
Recently, my perspective regarding on self- study changed after realizing the potential of gaining more at a shorter period of time just by having group studies. Although university itself is the only place which seems to groom us into more individualistic beings, however, in my point of view, it is actually molding us into more independent being.
Why does soon to be scholars regard knowledge as something unworthy of sharing at any time or place? Is there still a competition between students?? Such childish thinking .....till when shall
a man be a man??
Hence, here comes Rookie! A small body that consist of God fearing scholars that will try their best to be valedictorians :) Hopefully, this study group that I am about to form in my course ( Chemical and Environmental Engineering) would be able to be an example to many.
Our priorities are mainly God, characters, principles, values, and being holistic.
Besides, it was a great start for the four of us to begin when we were in the library busy studying Fluid Mechanics .....haha...
Let the world despise us for we will be children of God who may at times fail but by God's strength and power, no enemy shall prevail against us.

Anyway, am I glad to have the first three days occupied with many chores, classes and studies. In everything I give thanks to Him. For it is Christ who strengthens me :>

When love seems to be the only expression that I can think of. How awesome is love. Imagine one day, when there is no love in a person's life. Eventually, despair and hopelessness will be prevalent. Sometimes, thinking over what love means really means a lot. Very often, we take things too lightly. Saying "Yeah, I know my mom and dad loves me..." . Do we really know or are we just responding it ad hoc. When I love someone, the very first thought that comes to my mind would be; "is this a part of God's love?" It just ought to be a contradictory having known that in time to come our life partner would be awaiting for us. When everything seems smooth going, we think of it as happiness. However, whenever things become awry ( venting anger between husband and wife). who is it to be blamed?
The differences between a true Christian relationship compared to a non-Christian relationship are :

1) Men acts as the head of the house because they act based on integrity and principles(revealed by GOD) that are regarded as utmost importance in a harmonious family.

2) Women are respected as who they are and are given the opportunity to fulfill their purpose in life ( revealed by God)

3) Children are taught with principles, character and values(based on the "Word of God"). No compromises are allowed.

All these lead to a God fearing family.

The Love of God exceeds all boundaries :>

Friday, 4th September 2009 -
What a beautiful day when everything seems to fall into place neatly and nicely. Unfortunately, the inevitable happened :<
My smartphone went MISSING. The very moment I discovered my mobile phone was lost, all I could do was to crack my head and seek for answers. Where was the phone?? Was there anyone who stole it when I was away for a short period of time? Or could it be that my phone slipped from my pocket? It was absurd to have so much thoughts running in my mind.

There I was looking gloomy and in grief...haha.
I went phone hunting from 7.30pm till 9.00pm with a miserable small torch.
It was a futile search. Phone was not found. Mission Failed !
Anyhow, Alvin, my housemate provided some help by driving slowly in order to light up the pathway.

Although everything seems kinda awry, I still managed to meet up with Alex and Han Seng the following day.
We have lunch together in Tony Roma's and then a game of bowling :)
The most enjoyable part was that when I was in church. During the worship session, I cried out to God saying that I should not allow myself to focus on my loss of this material possession. It was a miracle. After I cried out and seek for forgiveness, everything fitted nicely into the puzzle.
Mr. Azlan(security officer of Nottingham) called Alvin via mobile phone during the church service. At that very moment too, I was just about to walk into the sanctuary when I saw Alvin speaking to Mr. Azlan.
That's when I realized that the missing puzzle has been solved.
During the period without a mobile phone, I realized that indeed it was better. Without distractions and disruptions. Just peace between me and the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
It is an important lesson that God wants me to learn. :) Thanks Dad

Not a bad movie. I wonder why Hitler was so fortunate that even for the 15th time of assassination, he managed to escape.
Life is just great with God's provision and protection in my life.
Yesterday, after church, I headed for a movie in Jusco together with Alvin(housemate).
I have been staying in TTS 5 for quite some time after the tragic incident which I encountered that brought aches and tears in my life. I wonder when will I be able to stop crying in anguish?
It just seems that this world is kinda a place of suffering at times.
So getting back to the story, after having reached my destination, Cheras Selatan, Alvin decided to shop for shorts. I on the other hand, decided to browse through the shoes' section since my badminton shoes had already worn out.
Lo and behold I saw these cheap shoes (RM20 bucks) displayed with limited sizes. Well, I did overspend this month; I decided to try to find my size (size 10 btw). Guess what? Not only did I managed to get a pair of badminton shoe but it was branded too (Ambross).
Ok...so what? You might certainly ask. But the "catch" is this. I was lamenting that the shoe I was about to purchase seems old and a little torn. I decided to joke with the salesperson:

Me: Aiyoo, mahal la kasut ni. Warnanya sudah luntur la.

Salesperson : Kamu nak berapa?

Me : Umm.... RM 15.00 ?

The salesperson then took an unattached price tag and wrote the invoice.
I was astonished when I took the shoes and the invoice. Written on the invoice was RM12.00.
By the way, the shoe was very new whilst the torn one was actually another shoe which I was complaining about ...lol ;)
So my shoe which I bought was actually brand new ..haha..Life sometimes is unpredictable. Then I went to buy breakfast (my initial plan) due to the 30% waiver for any patries in Jusco.
Watched District 9 with Alvin.
However, during the movie, Alvin was fidgeting trying to find his mobile phone. It was missing.
Well, I decided to stay calm and act as though nothing happened (whilst trusting in God that his mobile phone was not missing). He was distress and tried staying calm. He was breathing profusely and did not have even a moment to spare to enjoy the movie. After the movie ended, I called his mobile a few times but to no avail.
So, I told him that maybe he left it in Starbucks. Well, it turned out that before we were about to leave the theatre, I glanced below my seat and there it was..."the phone". Phew....That morning(already 1.30am), I was certainly glad that God indeed was convincing me that he was always there for me. It seems awkward if I say that such incidences are just merely coincidences.

In a serious composure am I writing this down. Have I realised how talented God has made man. Just think about it; when guys get married, they shall be holding all the responsibilities(not only towards wife but also to the little ones.)
Besides, he needs to be able to divide his life at work and home.
At home itself, he has to be a dad and a loving husband. Sometimes people may say that marriage is the happiest moment in life.
Indeed it is and it is also an incredible leap for the head of the house since he needs to be able to divide his priorities, able to deal with the stresses and being commendable to not only his boss but also to his children and wife.
Such "burden" ain't that bad either since the fledgling now turns into a full-blown MAN.
It is definitely amazing how God made man and woman so that after marriage only will the true potential be revealed. Cheers to our Heavenly Father:)

KTM - jOURNEY tO Kampar

Kampar is a beautiful place to be in. The view is just splendid(depending on where you are). Wait till I snap a few tableau. There are hills and "lakes"(mining pool in exact). Oh, ya! There are also a variety of birds in this ghetto. The most famous food? My guess would be the Chicken Biscuit and the curry stuffed bun. The bun is like XXL in size. The radius is of a china plate. Tried once last year.
It is great to be in quietness and calmness that just seem so soothing. I love to be in solitude after befallen into unending clutter from people around me :>

See the pictures posted there :) Those are my fellow pals from Nottingham. The pictures were taken during my pre-U. We did have a jolly time having Teh Tarik and outings together besides being moviegoers. It seems that they have been impacting my life since I started my pre-U course. It is just very different compared to my school days. You see, each of them possess a special ability that just draws us together. It is like I am the mushroom, Yong is the onions, Weng Kiat the cheese, Daniel Chin the vege and Ming Wee the flour. Then "Ola"! Out comes the favourite pizza :) [btw, it is Yong's favourite] Anyhow, these few friends of mine really are a bunch of positive people who will not only learn from one another but will also try to emphatize on others. This bunch of "past hooligans" is special in a way that we try not to speak without thinking. Whenever we utter even a word, we will be conscious of those around us. Brotherhood seems to be the best word :) May we fluorish to persevere like brothers. "All for One and One For All". Let us Be Men of Valor .

Rendezvous is just like a word that sounds uh-huh???(chuckles...). But if you ever notice, it has been used many times in "GI Joe" the movie :)
Yup, today I managed to grab "the" movie in Cheras Selatan. The action packed film is truly amazing and should not to be missed. In my opinion, it is as great as "Transformers- The Revenge of The Fallen."
It just seems that I am slowly becoming an avid movie hunter :>

Ok, let's get down to earth . Sometimes life is really a mess and I am readily admitting it. Forrest Gump quipped," Life is like a box of chocolate" but is it really sweet or are we to take into account of the bitter ones? I do prefer white chocolate that only taste sweet and presentable.
For the past two months, I have been into a spiralling gust of unbeknowst wind that have kept me away from my "Dad" :(
It seems sad for his very child to drift into the world itself after spending some time living in my "sweet home". Through trials and temptations have I gone and nothing seemed to have made me realised the changes that occured. Even when my closest ones succumbed to the desires of the world, how can I ever advice them? Who am I? Therefore, many will never come to understand my inner dependency on God Himself because the carnality of the world has caused us to crave for the desires of the world. Pride and fear just came to my life bit by bit for the last two months. Recently, I just realised my mistake after having to read a book entitled, "Lead Like Jesus".

God has given me so much experience that just came to my senses.
When I was in standard 6, I recalled living a life of fun and friendship where Jude, Loo Han, Manoj, and Dominic Ong would just simply play their in the game of badminton. UPSR examination was just a disaster as I thought that I was going to fail ! Instead, God blessed me with straight As.
Even before I was in secondary school, there goes the Cupid arrows....missing every shot :/
Nevertheless, the time of seriousness came when it was in Form 3. At the beginning of the year, I was beginning to shudder in fear. Hence, I decided to grip the phrase , " Every second changes the world". That's when I became discipline and unrelenting to spare much time in entertainment.
Then came the Age of Depression as many might have known.
Lastly God's blessing and revelation that came upon my life. It is accountability, responsibility and maturity that slowly came in just like a puzzle fitted onto a large piece of glass. The big picture? You will soon find out ... (Do keep the best for the last :p)

Faith is an act that only occurs when doubt and fear are absent from our heart and mind. But it is impossible to have a fearless soul and a doubtful mind without the presence of God in our lives.
Some may be able to have a heartless soul and not live a life of love due to the provocation of the sentence above. Do not take heed to the challenge of the human mind. By allowing God to move in our hearts we seek for confession and repentance. We have been made with both strengths and weaknesses but in the end, we have to decide; who shall be our God? There is no what shall be our God because only the eyes of the world regard such posessions as the primary soul of life.
Let us not be drifted into the world that kept us undecided, confused and busy. Redraw our steps and make a promise to God alone.
Only the Heavenly Father understands YOU alone. No men shall ever understand you inside-out except your Dad in Heaven .. ;)

A boon or bane to be in Kemaman(southern side of Terengganu). Here am I in Yong's home where I was able to meet with his mom and two close-knitted brothers. Although I am here as a visitor, I felt that God had led me through during this trip. Why? Here is the reason:
On Wednesday, I received a call from Yong who was eagerly awaiting me to sleepover in Kemaman. Am I glad that the next morning, I managed to grab hold of a ticket to Kemaman after enquiring from every booth in Melaka Sentral(they all denied of having morning trips to Kemaman). However, there was this one company, MARA Liner that was available for morning trips. Hence with my impromptu decision and my backpack strapped on, there I was blessed to have a seat in the bus which was very soon departing in a matter of seconds.
Guess what? There was a vacant seat just for me because one of the passengers did not turn up.
Before that, I was hustling myself to search for a bus. With all the calls I made and decisions to transit from Kuantan to Terengganu, all paid of in mere seconds. LOL....if this is not God's time, I do not know what else to say; rather than coincidence.
It took only 7-8 hours to arrive in Kemaman. As soon as I was in Yong's Nissan Sunny, we headed to the bus station to grab hold of a ticket home ( Friday is a holiday for Terengganu citizens). Guess what? The only time for departure is only 10.30pm daily.
There I was thinking how am I gonna be in Melaka on Friday morning or afternoon. Hence, I asked the ticket seller whether there was any more seats to head home the very next day.
He replied, "Hanya tinggal satu lagi."
So, it was really God's timing :) Getting hold of the ticket was a relief. If this is not God's perfect timing who else could it be?
Today's itinerary:
1) Breakfast in Hai Peng (May be the Best kopitiam)
2) Cherating beach
3) Yong's High School
4) etc.

Although it is summer break, it seems pretty bleak for me. Many times I ponder and ask why am I suppose to be in Melaka? Shouldn't I just be living life the way I want to. Initially, I planned to work and travel around Peninsular . However, many unexpected events just occur and recur in my stay in Melaka. The truth sometimes is saddening. However, God has great plans for me. I believe that no matter how bad is the situation, there is a reason behind all of the circumstances. Without the pain and sorrow, one may not be able to understand the true joy.
The current state of my life is like a deep plunge into the abyss. I need help but who should I call for? This is when only He will understand me. Men alone may just be able to comfort me for a short span but only God is able to lift me up during these times. It is always by the power of God which is unseen that we should put our faith upon.
Let's look on the bright side of life. Within this two months, I have been learning and practicing many "fruits"; sticking to principles, having faith in God alone(even when parents were against it), encouraging another, humility, love, joy, kindness. I am still learning to apply many more principles and characters. Guess it takes time to be a perfect child of God :)

Work Experience

As I reminisce the job experience I had in Holiday Inn Hotel, working in the banquet as a waiter will never be an easy job for novices. Although I was working as a part-timer, it was really a phase of equipping me for the working life. Whenever a waiter steps into the kitchen, he/she has to be preoccupied with some kind of chores. No complaints, no experience, no understanding on the job. Just do what seems right (pure common sense). There was no training whatsoever.

Recently, I was employed by Island Red Cafe located in Dataran Pahlawan. It was interesting to make the drinks one could find in kopitiams blended with those of the modern kind (ice blended). During the first week, I was eager to learn as much as possible.
However, my spirit began to die down when certain people(working adversary) started to hurl words that just seem so hurtful and discouraging. Sometimes i just ask God why "akua" exist.

Whenever I work, I would try to put customers satisfaction in mind. With this pest who kept pestering me, I felt that I ought to leave the job. Even customers knew that something was amiss in the cafe. All I could do was to pray and seek help from God. Nonetheless, it was time to put a stop. It was a situation where either he leaves or I leave. Since I was a newbie, I knew I would be the one to leave. All unsatisfaction has been released to Him after quitting the job. Regardless of the situation, my plan is to please God and not men.

Hannah Montana. It seems odd for me to love her songs especially "The Climb". Maybe it was due to the way she portrayed herself in the movie that really caught hold of my attention. This song is really wonderful and inspiring. It lifts a person whenever he/she may have taken the wrong route in life. After watching the movie, it seems pretty cool to have the dance song in the movie itself - "Hoedown Touchdown". Way to go Miley Cyrus! Gonna cherish those two songs.
Father's Day is arriving soon. Wonder what should i get for my dad :>

What a "Durian Runtuh"

Dear friends,

The reason for my late blogging was due to the busyness of life after exams. How busy can i be? What am i busy at? Chores, errands and the like - (to be available as a chaueffeur at most times). The truth may not seem tempting at all. However, i was bless to own a smartphone(HTC brand) that cost RM700. By the way, it has all the features(ranging from Wi-Fi to 5hrs long Video Recording). Besides, it is not a pariah kinda phone. It is original HTC. Really a great bargain(no doubt about that). Initially, i was panning to own a Xpress Music-5800 which cost RM1499 (original) whilst RM989 for the one made in China. The blessing of the phone(comes with Windows Mobile) came when i was heading back to campus via express bus to Seremban. Soon after arriving, instead of rushing back to campus in order to ride my motorbike home, i drop by Terminal 1 complex. It was there that i started browsing through the phones. I saw a few second hand phones that seem to be in tip-top condition but way over my budget(RM700 at that moment). Unexpectedly, while i was browsing, the saleswoman showed me a few PDA phones and explained to me that most of them cost above RM 800. However, it must be my fervent prayer that she later told me of a phone that cost RM700 (reasoning was ; it was used as a display during a PDA fair somewhere in January this year). I was surprised to have heard of such reasonable price. All this while, second hand phones would also cost around RM 700. But this is a new one which includes GPS Navigation. Really a blessing.
Oh, ya! Recently, i went to Port Dickson for a holiday trip. These are some sceneries taken from(through smartphone) the run-down Costa Rica Hotel aka Le Paris Hotel. The place is horrid(sorry to mention that) based on my perspective. The maintenance is so terrible that even the colour of swimming pool is somewhat greenish in colour(due to Chlorine?? or algae??) Still, the best applause ought to be given to the sunset. That's all folks. Take care:)

It has been quite some time since my last attempt to head back to my hometown. The stillness and calmness during the wee hours reminds me of the peaceable truth one may obtain just by strolling down the aisle thinking about why people act according to their emotions. For example, having a close companion (after age of 18)seems to have gained the consent of many parents. But why parents have such thought? Is it because they have gone through a similar experience? Why people follow what others do? Sometimes, i feel it is absurd to "follow the crowd". It serves no purpose. The only purpose it serves might be that it pleases the person itself(mostly selfish desires). Can a person really feel happy/satisfied after rightfully declared himself/herself "owned"?
No men(refers to anybody) will ever feel satisfied in whichever way they please themselves. The only satisfaction can only be gained by the love of Christ. Eternal peace, boundless serenity and tender love can only be felt by the acceptance of the Son of God,Jesus into ones' life.
All earthly things will never satisfy men. This includes fame, fortune, love from earthly people and etc. If there has been no conviction based on the words above, please bear in mind those few words highlighted for further reference when the time suits you :)

Indeed today was my final paper. Although i spent gruesome hours to stay focussed and slogged at the very last moment , did then i realized how life will be like if i ever continue such a lifestyle . Enjoyment is part of life. However it is through discipline and character qualities that mould a nobody to a somebody. No wonder i respect Abraham Lincoln :p Anyway, this semester was meant to be this way as i regarded friendship more than studies. Unfortunately, it does not seem right. Since many of my friends are unlike the ones i have in SFI (so sad...) . There are none who will encourage another to study. Men will always be men based on their selfish nature (darn) The true talents will never be unleashed if ever any kind of guy continues that way. Although tried my best to help my few best buddies here, there will always be one that is so hard to change(even if a sledgehammer was used, the hard nut will never crack!!) Not many people here are positive + +...Hopefully in undergrad, (next sem) more positive fellas will be present in our midst. The following 3 months is gonna be a break. Although it is pretty long, it will be the time of reformation. Time to grow more daily in not bread and water alone but in the power o God!!
Am i glad when i saw those chocolate bars and snacks Nick has as means of staying awake to study :) Get THE VIBE MOVING!!

Before ending,i felt compelled to share this to ya all. This evening i commuted back from Mid Valley after the movie "Angels and Demons". After boarding the KTM, i reached Kajang terminal and waited patiently for the uni. bus. Whilst i was waiting, there was this Indian man who sat beside me. I felt agitated and a surge of sparking up a conversation was unbearable for me at that moment. Hence, i started to chat with him. I shared what i have been through during my "doomsday" and how i was growing spiritually after the downfall. Besides, i also told him concerning men who are not able to seek the purpose of life due to the stir in emotions during those youth phase. Guys who are not able to resist the beauty of girls tend to follow much of their emotions ending up in greater commitments and responsibilities which really consume much of their time. Although we conversed just in a giffy, he did asked which church i was from :) After responding to him(he was boarding a bus), we waved goodbye.
Soon after that i went to Tesco to shop for my groceries. Unfortunately, the cheapest book shelf(RM10) have been sold out. I headed to KFC to have my dinner around 9.45pm and saw Ernest feasting on his "dinner plate"(a guy which i am not closely acquainted to but seems fine). I then sat with him and talked. Ernest is a Christian who hops from one church to another(just like me "in those days") . I did mentioned about the importance of cellgroups and sticking to it in order to grow spiritually. I guess most firstborns are very into their own mindset. It was difficult to converse to him as he was like having another side of him. Anyway, i already made things clear regarding the importance of relying on only a church.

In conclusion, men are never perfect. Even Christians like me also make mistakes. Through my mistakes did i only learn the value of discernment, contentment and love. Remain steadfast, unmovable, and always abound in the work of the Lord forasmuch as ye know your labour is not in vain in th Lord(my prayer).

When he was having all his time alone, the compelling force of studies no longer come to his senses.
Is studying an obligation or part of ones life process before adjourning to the working world, or is it more than that?
To all upper sixers who are reading this! lol.. Just to remind you guys to keep focus on studies that all of ya need to be concentrating on. Be logical and put aside all those "extreme fun" which even he is experiencing a certain lost in concentration. If the world is not meant to distract us, then why then do they not distinct between the right and wrong?
Having time alone is vital because it is during this time where one is able to think straight and decide to be like others or to be someone different. How can we impact others if we are not different? Mentioning all this may seem to be unstable but the current state that most of us are in are unstable too.
By having all the fun, dramas, entertainment(including manga and anime) ain't we ruining our life being controlled by these elements?
Franciscans are meant to be leaders and not just mortal men who pretends to be "zombies". Wake up all of ya and do not lose the battle.
If we do not change, Age Quod Agis means nothing at all!
May all of ya be strong not only physically and mentally but also spiritually. It is the spiritual strength that exudes the desire of learning.

After weeks of living in isolation away from Bandar Budaya(KL), here i am sitting in TISCRA where only a handful of people are minding their own "businesses" in front of their PCs. Since last week, the computer lab and library have always been packed with hardworking students! How dreadful for me who have been longing for a seat in the library. Two days ago, i went to Bangi Baru and Bangi Lama. I first arrived Bangi Lama longing to taste something exquisite. But in the end, i arrived in a mamak stall sipping a cup of "Teh 'O' Ais Limau". There was i astriding my Honda Coupe. It was amazing to witness the busy-like district. It was more like a county(Bangi Lama) whilst Bangi Baru was like Shah Alam. Imagine that!! Then i passed by UKM(University Kebangsaan Malaysia). It was terribly huge. I mean the land owned by them is tremendously boundless. I was travelling from Semenyih to Bangi Baru. It was unexpected to see such a busy place located quite deep in the oil palm plantation. I did not understand why was i so happy to catch hold of such a glimpse. Maybe i was struck in awe. Gaping at the housing areas, i felt like this should have been the place where Nottingham University should have been located. There were rows of shops at each junction. Besides, there were no stopping to the development there. Indeed Malaysia owns much land and really knows how to utilise them to the fullest. :>

The journey was 2 days ago and my exam begins tomorrow:

When things just seem to screw up, whatta going to do??
Just finished reading "The King Of Torts" by my favourite author, John Grisham.
To put in simple terms, his novels are just plainly exquisite. Currently, i am in possession of at least 6 of his books. "The Painted House" is also another interesting novel that suits those who were brought up in a suburban ghetto. In the recent novel which i have just finished reading(the former), i was able to learn many new words that are fondly used by lawyers. In short, this novel is concerning the aftermath of the conduct of a mass tort of lawyers. The greed of easy money just ended up blinding many and the most apparent of all is Clay Carter(main character in the novel ).

Anyway, i just love reading these days. It is a habit that just hooked me. :p
But is it idolatry or sinful? I hope not.

Coming back to the question posted, whatta going to do when things go topsy-turvy??
Let me share to you what will i do. Firstly, i will feel dishearten. Then all i do is say a simple prayer to God. Soon after that, you will see me singing my lungs out as i sing to God (all from my heart). By then, you shall see me rejoicing once again :) Without JESUS, i am nobody living a hopeless life. But with Him, i know i will be somebody of great importance in future whilst preparing to face any demise of the bleak future.

How is life these days?
Today itself, it was tremendously packed with tests. Having two quizzes and two tests in the same day burned me out. The impossible had been defeated by the grace of God. Unexpectedly i was able to stay through the tests till all was settled down. By fervent prayer , faith and always appreciating whatsoever talents and gifts from Him.
I believe that God has been a generous and understanding God. He gave me the skill of listening(counsel), singing joyfully, enjoying His beauty He created, able to master many sports, fit and healthy emotionally, physically and mentally and most important of all taught me leadership qualities.
If God is not great what else can be said of him?
Currently reading "Airframe" by Michael Crichton. More facts than entertainment.
I prefer books by John Grisham. :)

What keeps us driving to learn? Coming to think of the importance of education, it seems that learning by studying is just a part of a rapid progress in gaining knowledge. Many may not have the time to think of something that might have sparked up their interest. That may be the reason why people are always learning from one another. Isn't life a learning process. By learning through friends, sharing and understanding really contributes to the world. Not only relationships are built but also the cultivation of characters. Imagine if everyday we do not talk behind a person's back, instead always encourage one another and try to understand the other. I am sure that many are able to learn at a progressively fast pace. The world has corrupted us into thinking that we have to deal with responsibilities all by ourselves. Then, why did God made mEn? By helping friends, we are actually building them. Any sense of discrimination ought to be left aside. Let us help one another and learn from there. That is how things grow. If a plant does not rely on water, sun and carbon dioxide(friends), will there be any food made by them??Are they able to survive?
Take some time to think:)

Today is the day where many changes will take place. It will be a transformation of many lives. Just when i realized that Jesus was resurrected on Sunday, i was caught unaware of thinking what good can i do for God.
You see, the point is i have been blessed by having the opportunity to pursue my studies in Nottingham yet managed to lessen the burden of my parents in financing me. In addition to that, i got the very meaning of life and am very glad to have God always by my side reassuring me in all my decisions.
Why should one live a life blindly then? No matter what happens, humans tend to shun themselves from getting to know the true God because they think that it will cause a change in religion.
If God is real, ask Him to appear in your life and reveal the truth.

God is really great to not only me but also to my JPA friends. According to the admin. of Nottingham, the requirement to maintain the scholarship is made my jaw dropped. It is an amazement on how the Lord is doing wonders in my life. This semester seems to be a very busy one for me. With loads of assignments(approx. 3 each week), i realize that these are just test from God. When I am weak He is there to make me strong. A great thank you to God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for directing me to make wise decisions daily.
Recently, i read about an article mentioning that diamonds are not forever if they are transported to the core of Jupiter. The pressure in Jupiter is capable to alter the phase of diamonds.
Anyway, here is the word for today:

Wear and tear often happen to things around us. Especially tires. Mentioning about tire, I just changed my front tire for my C-70 Honda Coupe which i brought up with me:>. The front tire was as smooth as skin.
Unfortunately, not only my tire wears out. So am i:/
I felt that i have been so busy this semester doing loads of assignments and sparing time with my friends. There was less time spent for studies. Haiz....
The rejuvenation of zeal was not working. The world with all their influences that deteriorate peoples goal. Having thought of the bright side, i benefitted my friends by teaching them many new things:) concerning life.
The passion and burning desire to excel runs deep within me. However, this time i must focus my energy on the main purpose as a student.
Run like a stallion and achieve the unattainable.

Great time spent with friends who went through a lot. Sometimes, people just do things based on their own motives whilst neglecting the welfare of others. I just want to thank God for using me as a tool and to teach me more and more daily. By understanding that everything in my life has been planned ahead by HIM, i can now pray with authority and power. All glory to God our Father and King. Sometimes, meeting with new friends is a blessing since it really gives us the opportunity to be who we want to be; our natural self.
Recently, i celebrated my birthday with my friends in Cheras Selatan. We watched a movie,"Witch Mountain" together...So happy about that:)
Very seldom we have the opportunity to watch together with the presence of all our close buddies.

Watchmen??

Last Sunday, around 6.30pm, i went to Mantin to meet up with my crony, Daniel Chin(another Chin clan:)). Th reason was to have a night movie at Jaya Jusco located in Seremban 2. There have been rumours that "Watchmen" is really an interesting movie. So, off we went headed to the cinema and grabbed the 8.30pm movie ticket. The summary of the movie is concerning sacrificing a small quantity of living beings for the benefit of a larger human race. Adrian and Dr. Manhattan seems to the protagonist in the whole scenes. Nevertheless, this is what the world perceive; by sacrificing a menial sum for the whole lot. Maybe that is the reason to abortion. Rorschach seems to be the one guilty in the end. Despite that, i still believe that this peculiar guy is the one and only person who made the right choice to stick to his principle. Although he died in the end, he died as a hero. Life is not decided by men. Dr Manhattan was lost due to the insurmountable knowledge and power possessed by him. He drifts away from the world and is emotionless. Adrian on the other hand tries to conduct a plan via his genius way of thinking but proves worthless for him after the group of heroes departed. Life is meaningless if one is able to decide who lives and dies.
Yesterday, i attended SP training. Great to have Julian with me:>

The Dusk of Days

Today seems pretty cool.... I went to Alamanda Putrajaya expecting it to be some great place.
Anyway, the facade looks like Jusco. Just when i was whining about the lack of GSC cinemas around Semenyih area, i was indeed glad ta have found one in Alamanda. However, my buddy, Ah Weng needed to be back in campus by 4.00pm. The craving for "Watchmen" could be another "test" to karma...lol. When i arrived home, i felt tired though and thought of having some rest. Unfortunately, i felt a compelling force which urged me to conduct a game of Squash. After battering the ball for almost two hours, i headed to the badminton court equipped with my voice and words of encouragement :> The match was on...Weng Kiat versus Chin Kiat(his big bro). My support sowned certainly reaped benefits since School of Foundation won School of Chemical Engineer. (Who's the man!!) Haha... Then after my friends ended their match, i was distracted by this player by the name of Bala from India. He seems to be a "stay cool" kinda person. Besides, every shot he did astounded me since it was like his shots were too accurate.
Then i went into my usual thinking mode... I got this phrase which reminded me of last semester.
"To win, a person will have to accept defeat. The main purpose to accept defeat is to win"
I was fooling about last sem. expecting my results to just "flung" so that i may have the feeling to strive. Respite that, i did better than the previous sem. What can i say?
Certainly i made a mistake which was to accept defeat without winning at all when my clear purpose was to win by learning from the failures. At that moment, that phrase really awestruck me.
Who can deny that? How can i perform such immature task without realizing the peril ahead.
Another lesson to learn in life:>
Thank God for speaking to me in my own world... God be the Glory.

Time is essential

People very often regard money as an important asset in life. Ironically, it is actually the effort and time needed that will help to boost a person to continue thriving to success. If a person does not have the determination to succeed, there will not be any change prevalent. Hence, having a right attitude, direction, focus, faith and zeal may be a few ways that might come in handy when you feel really bogged down. Each time when laziness creeps to your spine, be reminded that God has a plan for you. His plan is not for us to just laze around but to spare each second in sowing for greater understanding. My friends often mention that life is an ongoing process for learning. No matter what is ahead of us, just be prepared and always do our best. Nothing seems impossible unless one perceive it that way. Respite that fact, people have to know their limitations.
Patience is the understanding to the soul...(sounds interesting)
Buildng relationships and becoming a holistic person is of utmost importance for scholars. Life itself is beautiful if people just accept themselves and not comparing with others.
Imagine life without people to compare with. Will you strive for the best in whatever you do? Will there be challenges that will be taken constructively without competing? Many a times, people tend to just do the best by competing with others or maybe due to a support from a close companion. What if their companion was not there? Will you hopes and dreams come true? In my perspective, marriage helps in that sense. Although one may not be able to understand the true purpose, very often it is the love ones that gave them hope. As my tuition teacher once quoted, there is always two sides to a coin.
Stay clear for life ahead. Life is not about gaining or competing or resenting but life is greater than what you think:)

The Strength from within

However bad you feel, no matter what state you are in, there is no other person better than Him that would always comfort those who seek for His presence. Recently, i got back my results for last semester. The results really took me aback as i was expecting grades worser than what i've got.
Whenever one feels empty, and decides to just follow the world without understanding why he has to do so, he/she is heading for trouble. Understanding the walk of life draws new strength daily.
God has been the source of light in my life. Looking at people often make me wonder more about the precious souls He has made.
Imagine those around you who are just imitating the people around without understanding the very purpose of life. indeed one is said to be lost in life if one do not seek refuge from Him.
Many people only try to get the best from the things around them. Squeezing every drop of benefit from those who offer help. However, do they know that the secular world has made them into what they are today? Their purpose of life depends on the things around them. Seeking fortune, having a life partner, a happy family or even grandchildren may be what they dream for. Unfortunately they are really lost since they do not grope on the meaning of life.
If life has no purpose why live on.
In my perspective, God has made us for 3 very main purpose:
1) To praise and worship Him
2) To be fit and strong spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally
3) To be used by him whether in a workplace or even at home

We are children of God and Jesus has redeemed us from sin. therefore we are to fulfill the obligation of letting others know why are we here for. Before Adam and Eve sinned, we were made to glorify God.
The Lord is my strength and my fortress . Whom shall i fear.

According to Albert Einstein, life is like riding a bicycle. One has to keep himself balance in order to continue to move froward.
